The 'Patch only' still have the wipe command, so it maybe wipe your data.

I've used TWRP, so no data was wiped (unknow command).

Anybody with standard recovery can confirm this ?
  10. detritu5 New Member

yes. You will lose root permissions
  11. Juanjo Memberes

    I've installed correctly using TWRP.

Ok, then I have to reinstall FIND5_ROOT.zip? Very simple ...;)
  13. Juanjo Memberes

Patch only should retain root, because don't format system partition.

No, because I lose it with the patch,

For those that are having patch problems in twrp, just download the full firmware package and flash that. It won't wipe data. It will remove root. Just flash the root zip and that's it.

I can confirm that the patch version will not wipe your device! But you will lose root.
